I've Dreamed of Living Where the Trees Keept Death Away
Video, 2005
It's a video about the tree as a form of habitation. In this case as a place for the bird to form it´s habitation and nest, but also as a metaphor or as place for us to dream about our original childhood places. This also makes us consider the human ways of building settlements, homes, habitations and security around us.
I've dreamed of living where the trees keept death away was first shown at the exhibition Tree, at the Museum of Hanoi University of Fine Arts, Viet Nam, on April 4, 2005. Curated by Veronika Radulovic.

Moviken Art, Moviken, 2002
Moviken is a typical ironworks community of the late 18th century. When the ore was brought here, it was transformed into pig-iron before being taken to forges in Strömbacka to be worked into rod-iron. At the end of the 19th century, there was a blast-furnace here as well as seven charcoal-furnaces and a local school.
Unspeakable Home
Galleri Andersson Sandström, Umeå, 2001
Tower
Galleri 54, Gothenburg, 2001
Inside somebody’s head there are memories of sounds and images that echo. In a state of complete boredom and idleness, the brain weaves a very familiar but different world. A tower is built to give way to the wanderings of daydreams. One moment a little boy, next, a resting old man who remembers the ringing of church bells.
Redrum
Härnösands Konsthall, Härnösand, 2000
The exhibition redrum is constructed like a drama; a dream. The narrative moves freely around an atmosphere which follows a red thread. We wanted to create a feeling of a passionate drama that had just taken place, with its powerful tension between life-affir-ming and destructive energies. A feverish dream that generates images of a continuum, a before and an after.

"By the time you open your eyes your feet have disappeared and the skirts of your greatcoat come to rest on the surface of the snow. The dark scene seems lit from below."

Foghorn / Harangue
Galleri Ahnlund, Umeå, 1998
The wallpaintings worked as tableaux that suggested a closed room seen from a number of distorted perspectives with sliding temperaments.
